Just keep showing up.

You’ve had a long day.  It’s raining.  You just want to go home and relax.  If you didn’t show up, no one would really notice.  They would carry on without you.  But, you made the commitment to yourself.  You initiated this.  You know this will benefit you in so many ways.  You may not be able to see results yet, but if you quit now, you’ll never see them.

Show up for yourself.

Show up – rain or shine, inconvenient or convenient, don’t feel like it or feel like it, unfruitful or fruitful.

Don’t let laziness, setbacks, failure or naysayers impede your success. This isn’t about comparison.  This isn’t about judgement.  This is about trusting that you are exactly where you are supposed to be in this moment in time on your personal journey.

Muster up the courage, strength and heart to stick it out, to accomplish what you set out to do, to form that habit or cross that finish line.  Just keep showing up, and sooner or later, you’ll look back and realize how far you’ve come, what you are able to do and how much your life can change when you make a commitment to yourself.

Show up for others.

Show up – move that meeting, carve out the time, make the call, plan something special, offer to help, share your story, simply be there.

Write the positive review when you have a good experience or someone goes out of their way for you.  Give a testimonial or referral for a long-time vendor or service provider.  Clap at the award ceremony.  Cheer at the soccer game.  Bring soup when someone’s sick.  Welcome a new neighbor.  Celebrate a new baby.  Cuddle a pet.  Provide comfort to those mourning a loss.  Be a gathering place for friendships to grow.

Fight fiercely to achieve your goals and fight even harder for the happiness of your loved ones.  Just keep showing up.
